PdM Technologies
The course starts with an introduction to predictive maintenance using condition monitoring.
The course will present the basic theories and methodologies of vibration analysis, infrared imaging, tribology (oil analysis), ultrasonic detection, and motor current signature analysis. The advantages, disadvantage, trypical applications, and costs of each technology will be discussed as they pertain to industrail environments.
This course will give an understanding to the typical tools and other resources required in order to establish a Predictive Maintenance Program. Expected ROI will also be reviewed for each technology. The student will demonstrate their knowledge by reviewing additional case studies in a laboratory setting.
Prerequisites
Seconday Education Diploma is recommended.
Course Length
8 hours.
Certification Exam
25 Questions, 1 hour time limit, Open Book, passing score is 70% correct.
