Kasey McClain
Mechanical Engineer Technician
Pioneer Engineering Company is proud to announce the newest addition to our reliability staff, Kasey McClain! Kasey has accepted a position as Mechanical Engineer Technician with Pioneer Engineering while he finishes up his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.
Kasey originally hales from Oakdale, California where he grew up on a small ranch. At a young age Kasey began working on cars, motorcycles, ATV’s, and all types of farm equipment. As his skills evolved, he moved on to vehicle restoration. He began drafting as a freshman in High School at an accelerated pace. After High School graduation, Kasey began working in a machining / fabrication show and was trained to be the only person in the shop to work both machining as well as fabrication. It was at this job where he was exposed to system re-design to prevent future failure. Kasey had worked in the industry for many years before deciding to return to school to pursue his degree in Mechanical engineering. Kasey explains that he has wanted to be a Mechanical Engineer since he was a junior in High School. Throughout Kasey’s entire life, he has made every attempt to get his hands into any mechanical or electrical system possible in an attempt to expand his knowledge.
Kasey plans on pursuing a Masters degree in the future, and possibly even his PHD in Mechanical Engineering, Kasey comes highly recommended from his professors at CSU and Pioneer Engineering is excited to see what he can do! |
