The course starts with the theory of operation and design of gears. It then moves on to vibration analysis techniques by establishing the appripriate hardware & software selection and setup for trending and diagnosis. The course then covers FFT Spectrum and Time Domain Analysis for the purpose of identifying specific gear faults.
Course Length
Minimum 8 hours. Four 2 hour sessions, 2 times a week for 2 weeks.

25 Questions, 1 hour time limit, Open Book
