PR 102A - Proactive Maintenance Management

Synopsis: Students who successfully complete this course will be able to understand the current maintenance practices available, including a thorough understanding of the condition monitoring technologies. They will also be able to estimate the costs associated with implementing such programs, as well as expected savings. They will gain an understanding of how spare parts selection, work control, and design change control can improve plant reliability. In addition they will learn the basics of RCM and RCFA, and how to apply them in the plant. At the end of the two days students will also have a familiarity with the fundamentals, including terminology, of vibration signature analysis.
This class is intended for managers and maintenance personnel who want a introduction to the very broad world of plant reliability engineering.
