By: Pioneer Engineering
As part of Pioneer Engineering's continued effort to help educate and train reliability personnel all across the globe, we are pleased to announce that two of our engineers, Matt Price (B.S.M.E., C.M.R.P) and Chad Wilcox (M.S.M.E., Cat. III Vibration Institute Certified), will be presenting at Maintrain 2016. Maintrain is an annual conference organized by the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) that focuses on sustainable, effective, and evolving strategies for maintenance, reliability and asset management programs.
All of Pioneer's engineers are encouraged to apply for speaking engagements all over the world and we are excited for Matt and Chad to help encourage practical and important reliability engineering information to all those who attend.
Matt Price, our Reliability Services Manager, will focus his session on utilizing a qualitative survey to further focus the results of a quantitative reliability assessment. Matt Price has been working diligently over the past year to develop and implement a reliability survey that throws out the "either/or" and instead focuses on combining a qualitative survey with a quantitative reliability assessment. Honing in on raw reliability assessment data with feedback from plant personnel generates results that separates the perceived reliability issues from the actual struggles within a facility. Matt is presenting on this topic on September 21 at 11:30 AM; more information on his topic can be found here.
Chad Wilcox, our Executive Director of Business Development, will provide a half-day workshop to those in attendance focusing on Vibration Condition Monitoring for Managers, Planners, Engineers and Technicians. Chad Wilcox has provided vibration analysis solutions and training for clients across the United States and overseas. With 12 years experience, Chad has provided modal and ODS analysis, condition monitoring program setup, as well as training and mentoring on numerous reliability services. Chad will workshop universal methods to help improve your condition monitoring program, whether it is a new or well-established program. Chad is presenting his workshop on September 19 at 1:00 PM.
